Infragistics Version Utility, developed by Infragistics, Inc., is a companion tool that streamlines upgrading projects that use Infragistics UI components. It scans your Visual Studio solutions, detects references to Infragistics assemblies, and updates them to a target release of the Infragistics toolset. During the upgrade, it adjusts project references, updates licenses.licx entries, fixes assembly binding redirects in app.config or web.config, and reconciles XAML resources, tag prefixes, or namespaces where required. The utility supports the platforms included with your installed Infragistics products (for example, WinForms, WPF, and ASP.NET), can process multiple projects at once, creates backups before making changes, and produces a detailed report so you can review results and roll back if needed. Available as a standalone tool and via Visual Studio integration, it helps teams move between service releases and major versions with less manual effort and fewer upgrade errors.
